If an appointment is scheduled but a provider launches the note from the File tab instead of opening the note from the Appointment Book. The appropriate note can be linked to the appointment via a pop-out box that will give the user a drop-down menu of scheduled appointments, for that client, without an attached encounter form.

In the pop-out box, choose the appropriate scheduled appointment

Once the appointment has been selected, click the 'New Encounter' button

Then confirm

The encounter form will then open and the User may complete the form.
